In the early 1930s, a young couple, Vicky and Maurice, move into the Borley Rectory, a notorious haunted house in the English countryside. They plan to renovate the dilapidated building and turn it into a hotel, despite warnings from the locals about the ghostly sightings and mysterious happenings that have occurred there for years. As they begin to uncover the history of the house, they realize that the spirits of former residents, including a vengeful nun and a tormented monk, are still haunting the premises. Strange and terrifying events plague Vicky and Maurice, as they struggle to understand the malevolent forces at play within the walls of Borley Rectory. As they delve deeper into the dark past of the house, they must confront their own fears and unravel the truth behind the ghosts that continue to haunt them.
